Patient Nutrition Made Easy with Nutrition Support

Avoid the hassle by estimating optimal Nutritional supply following the REE measurement!

With the Nutrition Support option enabled on Virtus Metabolic Monitor, you will have a simple tool which can support you in optimising your patient's nutrition supply.

 

Following the REE measurement, simply click on the Nutrition Support button, and Virtus Metabolic Monitor calculates and displays the optimal Feeding Pump Target Flow Rate, based on the Measured REE, Target REE (based on Guideline or % Target and in relation to number of days admitted to the ICU) and the Formula used for the patient (Feeding bag).

 

As simple as that!
